Spyware Remover 2009, how do I get rid of this?

I tried going to http://www.spywarevoid.com/remove-virus-remover-2009-virusremover-2009-removal.html and following the manual instructions, but it doesn’t tell me what I need to know, like how to get to my HOSTS file, or how to find the registry keys I’m supposed to look for without spending hours going through each file.
I have spyware doctor, but it isn’t blocking the popups.
If it helps any, I have Vista.
