i downloaded msn plus! from www.msgplus.net.com and then now it says download update to log in, then wont let me do it. then i went to the website and did it externally from the popup and it wont work stil. should i remove program then download the new version again from scratch?
Firstly I would make sure you have the latest Windows Live Messenger version.
Go to http://download.live.com/?sku=messenger and select Download.
Open up the setup file and follow the prompts. It will have a selection (tick boxes) so make sure you have it selected to just download/install Windows Live Messenger. Follow the prompts and it will download and install it for you. Maybe check that it all works and you can login and what not.
Once that’s done then go back to http://www.msgplus.net/download/ and download and install the add-on.
Be at bit more descriptive in your question. What do you mean by it wont let you do it and it wont work? Is it not installing or downloading at all or what? Try and describe a bit more on whats actually happening so it’s easier to diagnose.
Maybe even check you have all the latest windows updates. Some of windows updates relate to product updates which can fix problems with these programs.
